Performance Day is one of the most exciting highlights of the Dryden Fall Fair Horse Show ! With a full day of classes designed for all levels and disciplines, there's something for every rider and horse to enjoy. From Western Pleasure to Trail, Costume Class. Performance Day showcases skill, style, and true horsemanship in the show ring. Whether you're riding for prizes, or just for fun, it's great opportunity to be part of a tradition over 118 years strong.
1. Canadian Equestrian Federation Rules will be followed, however, the Judge and/or Ring Steward decisions are final.
2. Proper riding attire is required for all classes, both days.
3. All riders must wear proper riding footwear when on horseback on DDAS property. All riders 18 years of age and under must wear a riding helmet when on horseback on DDAS property. No exceptions.
4. Current DDAS membership is required for all exhibitors aged 17 years of age and older (16 and under has no membership fee. All persons riding on horses on DDAS property must have a signed waiver on file.
5. Entries will be taken at the fair office Monday and Tuesday, August 11 & 12th from 2pm to 7pm; A separate entry must be completed for each horse and rider combination. A $20 late fee per horse and rider combination will be charged after this deadline.
6. Horses are confined to show area and are not to be ridden around the fairgrounds. Riding outside designated area can result in disqualification.
7. Age divisions are as of January 1st of the Fair Year:
● Class 400-Junior 12 and under
● Class 410- Youth 13-16 years
● Class 420-Adult 17-39 years
● Class 430-Senior 40+ years
● Class 440-Open to all Ages
8. Points will be awarded towards high point awards on the first 6 placings in all classes except for Specials and Stake Classes. Awards will be presented at the Annual Appreciation and Awards Night. Payouts for first to fourth place will be mailed to the exhibitor so please provide current mailing address. Ribbons and payout for Specials and Stake classes will be awarded following each respective class.
9. Class changes must be made to the show secretary a minimum of 2 classes in advance.
10. There is no crossover allowed to other classes for any exhibitor showing in lead line or walk trot.
11. Stake Class entry fee is $20 and there will be $25 added from DDAS to the prize money. Payout will be 40%, 30%, 20%, and 10%.
