A fun, inclusive opportunity for youth to take part in the Fall Fair, build confidence and celebrate community spirit. This program focuses on participation, encouragement and having fun in a supportive environment.

The program is open for children ages 4-12 years old (ages as of January 1st, 2026) with 3 age categories
- 4 to 6 years
- 7 to 9 years
- 10 to 12 years

Fall Fair Parade

Fall Fair Poster Design
Each participant will design and create their own float for the fair parade. Floats should reflect the 2026 fair theme: Wild West - think western flair! Children will ride or walk alongside their float during the parade. The parade will take place on August 20th, 2026 @6pm.

Each participant will design a fair-themed poster to help promote the event. Posters will be posted on the Dryden and District Agricultural Society Facebook page. A google form will be posted on Facebook so the community can vote on their favourite design for each age category. Posters are to be on standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper, and submitted by July 31st, 2026.

Each participant is asked to sell 5 books of DDAS raffle tickets prior to parade day (August 20th, 2026).
Main Stage Q&A

Following the parade, participants will head to the Main Stage for a brief and age friendly question and answer session. Questions will be light (eg. favourite fair ride, favourite fair food, etc.), giving each child a moment to shine in front of the community.
