
1. All members must fill out an annual membership form with waiver, even if they have no associated fee for their age.
Annual membership term is November 1 – October 31.
2. A membership fee of $15.00 is required for adults (age 17 and over) to exhibit at the fair unless otherwise specified
in class description. No membership fee is required for youth (age 16 and under) and seniors (age 65 and over)
regardless of Classes entered. All ages are as of January 1st of the current year.
3. Membership can be paid by:
a. E-transfer to ddastreasurer@gmail.com with your name, contact information and what payment is for.
b. in person at the Fairgrounds Office
c. mailing a cheque (payable to DDAS) to RR # 3, Site 300, Box 4, Dryden, ON P8N 3G2
4. Membership is considered complete once the signed membership form and waiver, and payment where required is
received at the DDAS office. A membership card is available from the office upon request.
5. A paid membership is required for all ages to be eligible to vote at the DDAS Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Exhibits are judged according to the following published standards:

1. Entry forms can be submitted by:
a. Entering on the DDAS website at www.drydenfair.ca under Menu>Fair Info>Submit Entry Forms
b. Email to ddasinfo2@gmail.com
c. Mail to RR # 3, Site 300, Box 4, Dryden, ON P8N 3G2
d. In person at the Fairgrounds Office
2. Exhibit Hall Exhibitors will receive free one Day Admission Pass and one Day Parking to view their exhibit success.
3. A handling fee of $5.00 for each entry may be charged for mailed in exhibits.
4. You can only enter an item once at our fair.
5. Exhibitors are limited to one entry per section in the EXHIBIT HALL, except in the Charity Class.
6. Exhibits must be the property (made or grown) of the exhibitor, unless specifically stated in description of the class
rules.
7.No judge shall exhibit in any class he/she is to judge.
8.Entry tags must be closed to cover name of exhibitor and attached to articles prior to bringing articles to the exhibition hall. Be sure tags are firmly attached to prevent loss in transportation or placement of items. All other distinguishing marks must be covered to hide the identity of the exhibitor.
9.When a Class asks for the article/entry to be described, it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to write this information on the entry tag. Entries without this description may cause the entry to be disqualified.
10. Entries made in the wrong class/section may be moved to the appropriate one at the discretion of either the Judging
or Exhibit Hall Coordinators. Articles will be brought to the office to confirm decision and entries changed
accordingly.
11. No exhibitors/spectators are allowed in any of the exhibit areas during judging.
12. The Society will, as far as possible, take care of all exhibits but no responsibility is assumed in case of theft, damage
or loss.
13. A committee of no fewer than three (3) Directors, including an Executive member, may handle issues arising related
to the fair.
14. Written grievances must be submitted to the Secretary within 2 weeks of the last day of the fair.
15. Infringement of the rules may result in loss of prizes and exhibitor privilege.
1. Ensure to identify on the Entry Form who’s name the cheque should be payable to for all minors.
2.Prize money will be distributed by the DDAS Office and be available at the Annual Appreciation and Awards Night held in October.
3.Other pick-up times will be advertised on our social media page (Facebook) or please call the office after the Awards
4.Night to make alternate arrangements.
5.Prizes not picked up by December 1st and under $20.00 will be forfeited and donated back to the DDAS.
6.No replacement cheques will be issued after December 1st for lost or stale dated items.
